MEG

In January I was really lucky to adopt Meg, a Westie. She has settled in really well and is the most lovable dog. She loves going for walks in the park with her friend Mac and on the beach with her cousins Lodi and Gwen. Thank you Llys Nini for letting me have such a wonderful companion. She has changed my life. SCOOBY

Just a quick update on Scooby, who came home with us yesterday.
Although he's a nervous little dog he's already settled in and is behaving himself very well.  Yes, he was sick on the way home in the car (as expected!) but he seems to be housetrained.  He trots alongside Jack when we're out for walks - three since yesterday afternoon.
He seems to like the garden and his new bed.  He is also fascinated by television!
I'll send further updates in a couple of weeks.  In the meantime, here are a couple of photos.
The new bed:
The tele addict!
Thanks for looking after Scooby so well whilst he was with you. 😀

Best wishes,
Catherine

LADDIE

Hi i adopted laddie and thought i would let you know how how he is doing and send some photographs i have taken.
He is doing very well and is looking a lot happier and healthier every day he is about 16kgs. Within the first two weeks we managed to be able to let him off of the lead and play with other dogs which he plays with really well and everyone he meets says he is a lovely dog and they wouldn't of thought he was a rescue dog at all and they don't know why anyone didn't get him sooner. He has stayed over my girlfriends house for a few days with me and gets on really well with her two dogs and he loves walking through the forest and fields around her house. But he hates being bathed and it took me about half hour to bath him outside and and he wasn't liking it at all but that will get better soon.

ROCKY

Hi Mary,
Just thought I would drop you a line after 6 weeks in my new home. I am getting fed well (chicken, salmon and tuna are nice, but steak is a bit rich for me), along with treats and chews.
I am going for plenty of walks, and like the woods and the beach.
I've had lots of new toys, and being a chewer I have gone through a few. I was given an 'indestructible' one, took me 20 mins,ha ha! I've met all the nearby family and lots of new people, they all love me and think I am cute.
There are lots of dogs nearby including Scoobys sister!  I get on with most of them but need to learn to relax a bit when meeting them.
I have kicked my new Dad out of his chair but I do let him share it, or just go on my side of the sofa. I sleep near Dad and Mam at night because I like to know  I have company. Dad says it is like having a little furry shadow.
Thanks also to Goody4Paws for keeping me looking good,
Rocky

KODA

We thought now that we’ve had Koda for a month that we’d give you a progress report…

He settled into our home very quickly and easily, we with no accidents in the home at all. He started off sleeping downstairs, but that swiftly changed to, in his own bed, upstairs with us.

He is a lovely guy, who just adores cuddles and the home comforts. We took him to the beach a couple of weeks ago, and tried him off the lead. He listens to us really well in the house and garden, so we hoped he’d do likewise, and he did. Ran circles around us, and then came back to sit in front of us, waiting for praise! Oh and a biscuit! Both of which he received.

He seems to love ALL dogs and plays well with them, and hardly ever barks. He now knows his walk times and dinner times, waiting in his bed for his food!

All in all, we couldn’t have asked for much else. We are both so pleased that he’s part of our family. I’ve enclosed a couple of snaps to verify how well he’s settled!
